Ever thought about booking a Cheap Cruise?

This article will explain you the entire knowledge of exotic and cheap cruises available today.

There’s always a first time for everything, and finding out how to book a cheap cruise is not exceptional. The question in today’s Cruise Line - reiVRE Hot Pulse is – “Ever thought about booking a Cheap Cruise?”

Cruises – once was only available to the rich and famous. Those with plenty of money and a separate tuxedo for every meal sitting, That’s not longer the case, with the introduction of several cruise lines offering cheap cruises.

Now available freely to all, there’s a cruise for everyone. Young, old, couples, families, and singles. Weekend cruises, year long cruises, summer cruises and winter cruises, exotic destinations, cosmopolitan destinations. Family orientated couples or adult only. Relaxed and casual or classic and formal, there’s a cruise to suit everyone’s requirements.

One common myth about cruise ships is that they are extortionately priced whilst onboard. The image of the rich and famous only taking cruise has led people to believe you must have deep pockets to be able to afford a coffee whilst onboard – this isn’t the case! The majority of cruises are fully all inclusive. This includes all meals - breakfast, lunch, dinner, supper and as many snacks or meals in-between as you wish – and all soft drinks. The only things that aren't included are alcoholic beverages.

However a large amount of cruise liners now offer unlimited alcohol for a small fee when booking. Usually worth taking advantage of if you are partial to a small tipple, this can make your cheap cruise even cheaper! What’s more, a large amount of cruise lines now provide every booking with on board credit to spend on whatever you wish. This can be anywhere from £50 to a massive £250!

Cheap cruises offer the perfect insight into cruising for the first timer cruiser. Without paying thousands, you can have an all inclusive cruise around the Mediterranean to see if cruising is for you. Which I’m sure it will be – most people onboard a cruise are first timers or returning customers!

Although cheap cruises are more available, it doesn’t mean they travel to unknown destinations. How does Barcelona or Palma sound? Maybe Rome or Pisa?, or one of the many destinations in the Caribbean? Whilst there are cruises that travel to some of the lesser known destinations, which are fantastic for those who are looking for a bit of excitement and intrigue on their holiday, the majority of cheap cruises travel popular, well known destinations.

When in port at one of the various locations around the world, there are always excursions available. Whether it’s stopping at Naples and viewing Mount Vesuvius or getting a coach into Toulon and seeing the places that inspired Van Gogh, some of the sights are awe inspiring. However, these excursions aren’t included and an additional fee is payable. The excursions aren’t compulsory though, so your cruise can stay a cheap cruise by either walking into the town or simply staying onboard and enjoying the piece and tranquillity.

Cheap cruises are becoming more and more available each year. The number of people cruising is expected to reach over 12 million this year, meaning more cruise lines offering more cruises at more affordable prices, meaning now is the perfect time to enjoy cruising.

Credit to out today’s guest contributor: Rakesh Gaikwad -Cruise1st have a multiple range of cheap cruises available from a numbers of cruise liners including royal Caribbean cruises, island cruises and celebrity cruises. Cruise1st also have all inclusive cruises for those travellers who doesn’t want external surprise payment.

First port for our Royal Caribbean cruise: A Stopover in Labadee, Haiti

The first port for our Royal Caribbean cruise of the western Caribbean was Labadee, Hispaniola which is actually a part of Haiti. This specific port is leased out to Royal Caribbean so only their cruise ships come here. Labadee is actually a peninsula with a few beaches. Getting to land from the cruise ship is by tender.

There’s always a first time for everything, stopping over on a beautiful peninsula with a cruise ship is not exceptional. The question in today’s Cruise Line - reiVRE Hot Pulse is – "How was the stopover in Labadee, Haiti go?”

The first port for our Royal Caribbean cruise of the western Caribbean was Labadee, Hispaniola which is actually a part of Haiti. This specific port is leased out to Royal Caribbean so only their cruise ships come here. Labadee is actually a peninsula with a few beaches. Getting to land from the cruiseship is by tender.

There is a small section for kids with floating fake icebergs to climb and water slides but they charge an admission fee. Flotation mattresses are also available for rent for those who just want to float in the ocean. There are also locals who help with getting beach chairs for you but they expect tips. So things here are a money grabber. The cruiseship did have optional tours for snorkeling, parasailing, wave-runner and kayaking tours but we thought that they were overpriced.

Most passengers just spent the day relaxing around the beaches. The area around Labadee was pleasant enough but the beaches and shores themselves were fairly rocky so wearing sandals in the water would be advised. Royal Caribbean had organized a beach BBQ at an outdoor picnic facility which was okay but nothing special. There is a market there consisting of two buildings.

One is a store where the souveniers and items have marked prices and the other building is like your typical market where locals try to hustle you for business. The locals inside the market were aggressive but polite. If you don't mind haggling, you could get some pretty good deals but if you dislike this type of pushy atmosphere, then you best avoid the market except for the fixed price store.

One big difference between this port compared to others is that since it is pretty well being used as a private beach, you will not be hassled by locals. The vendors coming around with drinks at the beach locations are actually Royal Caribbean staff so if one wishes to buy a drink, the cruiseship pass card is all that is required. As for concerns about being in Haiti given the poverty and political situation, Labadee was not a problem because the entire site is enclosed by a high steel fence. Other passengers later told us that they wandered off near the perimeter of the site and saw many Haitians along the fence begging for handouts and food. The fencing was mostly concealed in the distance from the main tourist areas.

We found Labadee in general to be a bit of a waste of time for us. The beaches were too rocky and we didn't have access to inexpensive activities since everything was run by Royal Caribbean. If one wanted to just go lie on the beach all day and not much else, then Labadee would be a suitable place. For those who want to experience some culture, do water sports without going through the cruiseship, or shop duty free, Labadee would not be the place to go. We decided to stay on board the ship after the BBQ lunch for the rest of the afternoon.

I like Royal Caribbean and would definitely cruise with them again but would not want to go on an itinerary that included Labadee in the future.

What the Heck Is Paleolithic Diet?

The Paleolithic Diet:

From a careful study of various races and ethnicities across the world, we know that there are some races that are relatively healthier than others. These races have probably not been touched by lifestyle conditions like diabetes, heart diseases, hypertension and the like. This fact has led certain people to believe that there are certain aspects of their diet that helps in healthier living.

The Paleolithic diet is also known by various other names such as the ‘Stone Age diet’, ‘Cave Man diet’, ‘Paleo diet’ and ‘Hunter-Gatherer diet’, to name a few. The diet is based on a holistic theory that details all the practices that need to be followed. The basic premise is that as man evolved and participated in the agricultural, industrial and technological revolution, the genetic structure of man did not really keep pace. In other words, the plan suggests that sticking to the diet that was followed by the pre-agricultural man can ensure better health and natural weight loss.

Natural Moves:4 Constipasion Support healthy open bowel

The diet covers all food components like proteins, carbohydrates, fat, antioxidants and phytosterols. It includes meat, fish, and poultry, along with fruits and plants that are edible in their raw state. The diet does not recommend consuming grains, beans and potatoes because these categories of foods are not edible in their raw state, and therefore it was believed that they were never meant to be consumed by humans in the first place.

Foods like grains, beans and potatoes entered the diet because they could be stored for longer period of time without refrigeration, they were packed with calories, and they could also be used as seeds to sow the next crop, thus making farming easier. Logical as these reasons may sound, they are not linked to the overall capability of man to digest and process these foods.

Over time, there were other foods that got added to the repertoire. These were added when man realized that toxins in some foods could be removed by merely cooking them over heat. Man also started extending the gains that could be extracted from cattle by using dairy products for human consumption. With time, salt, sugar and other additives like coloring and preservatives made their way into our diet. There is therefore no doubt why we people need to detoxify themselves from time to time and take nutrient supplements to stay healthy.

The Paleolithic diet encourages consumption of meat, chicken, fish, fruits, vegetables, and berries, and suggests that salt, sugar, grains, beans, potatoes and dairy products be avoided at all cost. Though the diet does not claim to be a weight loss program, returning to the basics can help you in losing weight naturally. Problems like indigestion, acidity, bloating and other lifestyle-related conditions can all be avoided if you stick to the Paleolithic diet over an extended period of time.

Exercise and Eating Right are the Best Ways to Lose Weight

There’s always a first time for everything, and wanting to shade some body weight is not exceptional. The question in today’s Weight loss Tips - reiVRE Hot Pulse is – "what is the best way to loss weight?"

Weight Loss” Surgery or Bariatric Surgery

Exercise and eating right are the best ways to lose weight. But many people have tried those methods for years and still can't lose excess weight — weight that can cause serious health problems

-------

Exercise and eating right are the best ways to lose weight. But many people have tried those methods for years and still can't lose excess weight — weight that can cause serious health problems. For people in this frustrating situation, weight loss surgery (bariatric surgery) may be an option. The articles in this website will help you better understand the procedures, determine if you're a good candidate, gain insight on costs, and learn from patients who've had weight loss surgery.

Background
For individuals who have been unable to achieve significant weight loss through diet modifications and exercise programs alone, bariatric surgery may help to attain a more healthy body weight. There are a number of surgical options available to treat obesity, each with their advantages and pitfalls. In general, bariatric surgery is successful in producing (often substantial) weight loss, though one must consider operative risk (including mortality) and side effects before making the decision to pursue this treatment option. Usually, these procedures can be carried out safely.

Gastric bypass surgery

Weight-loss (bariatric) surgery changes the anatomy of your digestive system to limit the amount of food you can eat and digest. The surgery aids in weight loss and lowers your risk of medical problems associated with obesity.

Gastric bypass is the favoured bariatric surgery in the United States. Surgeons prefer this surgery because it's safer and has fewer complications than other available weight-loss surgeries. It can provide long-term, consistent weight loss if accompanied with ongoing behaviour changes.

Gastric bypass isn't for everyone with obesity, however. It's a major procedure that poses significant risks and side effects and requires permanent changes in your lifestyle. Before deciding to go forward with the surgery, it's important to understand what's involved and what lifestyle changes you must make. In large part, the success of the surgery is up to you.

CONSIDERATIONS FOR BARIATRIC SURGERY

Individuals considering bariatric surgery must discuss risks and possible benefits with their doctor. Bariatric surgery has associated risks and long-term consequences and should be considered only one part of an approach to treating obesity. Most bariatric surgeons think that the operations work best when they help promote lifelong behavioural and dietary changes. Long-term follow-up with doctors experienced in the care of patients having these procedures, as well as lifelong vitamin supplementation, is essential to avoid life-threatening complications.

How Does Bariatric Surgery Affect The Digestive Process?

Before Surgery

Food is chewed in the mouth, then swallowed, passing through the oesophagus to the stomach, (roughly the size of a melon) where stomach acids dissolve it into smaller particles. The liquid (chyme) then passes into the small intestine where enzymes and bile continue the digestive process. The first section is the duodenum, the shortest section.

After Surgery

During both main types of obesity surgery, the size of the stomach is reduced by up to 90 percent, to the size of an egg or even the size of a thumb. Typically, its capacity is 3-4 tablespoons of food. This stomach reduction drastically reduces the quantity of food which can be consumed in one sitting and speeds up satiety. During bypass surgery, the digestive tract below the stomach is also altered.

"Easy Weight Loss Methods" Perfectly Explained

There’s always a first time for everything, and wanting to shade some body weight is not exceptional. The question in today’s Weight loss Tips - reiVRE Hot Pulse is – "Is there an easy way to loss weight?"

“Weight Loss Made Easy” - Must Read Information

For people that need an easy weight loss method, the bad news is that no system is perfect; however, there are a number that are very good and benefit anyone who wants too shed some pounds. There is more harm caused to an overweight person than just pride as many serious medical conditions are as a result of obesity.

There is an abundance of information about easy weight loss methods on the Internet but how many pounds are lost will depend a great deal on the attitude of the user. The reason you want to lose weight is paramount in how successful you will be and if it is because you wish to be healthy then you are more likely to succeed than if it is for someone else's benefit.

Many factors affect how well your weight loss program will go including how much physical activity you have during a normal day, the type of food you eat, how many meals you have and when those meals are eaten. Some people are of the opinion that losing weight quickly is the best way but this often causes other medical problems like heartburn or even anemia and creates unrealistic targets.

Considering that one pound represents 3500 calories which can be burned or lost in a week, it means you need to get rid of 500 calories a day either through exercise or proper diet. Although most people eat far too much junk food, there is nothing wrong with a little now and then, and no-one should have to give up every type of food they enjoy although some thought should be given to how much is consumed.

Emotions have a great deal to do with weight gain as many people (more likely women but not exclusively) eat more when they feel depressed, unwanted or unloved. The problem is that being overweight is the cause of many life threatening medical conditions including diabetes, heart problems, joint trouble and cancer. Many of the easy weight loss treatments neglect the psychological factor, hence, very few are truly effective, but you have to go beyond planning and find the real cause of a metabolic imbalance.

However, current research is showing that people that do not take weight loss programs too seriously are more likely to have success. This type of attitude is good for a person in all walks of life as it provides the person with a positive mind frame. Most people that loss those extra pounds claim they have more energy and are able to do things that their weight had stopped them from enjoying previously.

Many easy weight loss programs are far from it as they actually test the person using them but the pain barrier does not last long and once through it, the whole system becomes more pleasant.

Types of Dogs Aggression and Control

There’s always a first time for everything, knowing more about dogs’ aggression is not exceptional. The question in today’s ReiVRE Hot Purse is – "What are the situations in which aggression between dogs occur?"

Free Dog Control-Aggression Information and Tips

There are two situations in which aggression between dogs occur. -When one dog is unfamiliar with another dog and aggression between familiar dogs that live in the same household.
Dogs may encounter other dogs while their owners are walking them. A dog that is not well-socialized might have dominant body language and stare other dogs straight in the eye, which is conceived to be a direct challenge. Dog's that are otherwise friendly when not on a leash will more likely bark and lunge at another dog.

To avoid these confrontations owners should stay alert and keep their dog on a short leash. They should have voice control at all times and not let their dog sniff or come in contact with another dog. To prevent aggression when a dog is on a leash is to train the dog early on he can't visit with every canine he meets. Owners should also teach their dog to sit and wait for permission before approaching another dog. They should also train their dog not to pull on the leash. Behavior and basic obedience training along with voice control can help in preventing aggression and fights.

Along with keeping their dogs on a leash and with proper training owners can also avoid fights by keeping their dogs from roaming free, neutering them before one year of age, and start socializing their dogs when they are in the puppy stage between five and ten weeks of age.

There are four behavioral clues to look for if a fight is threatening to start:
1-A stern, deliberate, and targeted stare.
2-Body language; the tail held stiffly up or down; lips pulled tight against the teeth.
3-Rigid body movement
4-A dominating posture stance

When dogs first meet they tend to establish a social hierarchy and determine whose top dog. They become involved in loud barking and growling. Sometimes the aggression escalates and a fight ensues where one dog latches on to another dog.

If you intervene don't put your hands or get between them to avoid getting bitten yourself. If another person is there you can take your dog by the tail or hind legs and the other person takes the other dog and both pull back until one of the dogs loosens its grip. You should then move away quickly. This can be risky since dogs will sometimes bite whoever is hanging on to them.

Fights and aggression that occur between dogs in the same household will be about those resources that are considered most important to dogs. These include territory, possession, food, sleeping-quarters, and favored people.

Fights often come about over their sleeping territory near their owners, treats, food, owner attention (or greeting the owner upon return).

Dogs of the same sex occur most often than those of the opposite sex and seems to be most intense between female dogs. Fights can also start between familiar dogs where one is obviously dominant.

There are some familiar characteristics when it comes to fighting between dogs in the same household.
A-Adult dogs over 3 years old.
B-Dogs fight only when the owner is present.
C-Dogs are of the same sex.
D-A clash often between dogs is which one will be the dominant dog in the family pack.

An owner might try punishment but typically this only promotes more aggression and creates new problems. Any breed of dogs can get into fights, and it depends more on the dogs training, temperament, and socialization.

Some fights can start so quickly the owner is caught off guard, but many times you can spot behaviors that signal problems ahead. Keeping a watch out for these signs can keep a fight from starting.

Of course the best approach is prevention and giving your dog proper training and providing good leadership.

The world of car hire can be befuddling for the traveller

There’s always a first time for everything, getting to understand rental cars terms and conditions is not exceptional. The question in today’s Cheap Rental Cars - reiVRE Hot Pulse is – "What terms do you really need to know when renting a car?”

…of time and driving large distances it is advisable to share the driving with another member of the party. The car hire company should be notified of this person, adding them to the contract. While there will normally be an additional...

Car Hire Terms and Terminology

The world of car hire can be befuddling for the traveller. With so many terms bandied about by car hire representatives you are often left feeling confused and bemused and in the main, unclear on what you are actually paying for. While the rep may have a clear idea of what they are talking about, it is often the customer who has lost the conversation long ago and ultimately is trying to hang on to any semblance of relevancy in the hiring process. For some help to travellers wishing to hire a car, here are a number of terms used in the industry.

Additional drivers are those added to the hire package when in the process of hiring your car. Understandably, if you are hiring the car for a long period of time and driving large distances it is advisable to share the driving with another member of the party. The car hire company should be notified of this person, adding them to the contract. While there will normally be an additional charge for adding other drivers, it will be ultimately worthwhile as sharing the workload can make the trip that much more enjoyable for everyone.

Airport surcharges are usually added when using car hire from a major airport. While the consumer may be at a loss to explain why a hire car should be any more expensive whether hiring from an airport or not is relatively simple. The hire company will normally have to pay the airport authorities a payment that secures their desk in the terminal. These fees are usually passed directly onto the customer, like it or not, you will probably have to pay more if hiring from an airport.

A collision damage waiver or CDW is a common insurance extra that applies to you if an accident should occur during your hire period. An excess will normally apply, and an added charge will almost certainly be applicable; however, the taking of this waiver can save a lot of expense should you encounter an accident. It should be remembered however that this is not strictly insurance and is only an added extra to your premium.

Personal accident insurance will provide both driver and passengers with protection and coverage from personal injury. This is especially useful when in a foreign country as medical bills for holidaymakers can be exorbitant. Companies will vary on prices for this kind of package so be sure to check over the small print carefully.

A theft protection package can help you should your hire car be broken into or stolen. While this is usually included as part of the hire package, it is worth checking the contract carefully, if it is not their as standard, it may well be worth taking it as an extra.

You may need to cancel your hire car if you have booked early and unforeseen circumstances have arisen. A waiver that ensures you are refunded if this is the case can be advisable rather than losing your entire hire fee.

If you are planning to use a hire car whilst abroad it is often needed to apply for an international driving permit. This does not mean it is valid as a licence however and should only be used as an additional element to your domestic license.

It is hoped this brief glossary has helped the consumer to gain a better understanding of the terminology used within the car hire industry. By decoding some of the phrases bandied around by reps it is possible to get a better deal and a further understanding of what you are paying for. For the traveller, this should be a vital and useful resource.

What are the six major dog instincts and traits?

There’s always a first time for everything, knowing more about dogs’ characteristics is not exceptional. The question in today’s ReiVRE Hot Purse is – "What are the six major dog instincts and traits?"

Here we go, dog lovers top up knowledge- major characteristics of various dog breeds traits and instincts

Domestication:

Canines were probably the first species to be domesticated by humans. It's a generally accepted theory that the world’s first dogs were tamed wolves. Dogs share biological similarities with wolves. They look much alike. Anatomically, they have almost identical teeth, adapted for seizing and tearing. Their actions are similar and they have extremely sensitive senses of smell and hearing. Domesticated canines are loyal to and dependent upon their masters. They have taken a subservient place in human society. The only reward many dogs seek is a kind word and a pat on the head. Still, the study of dogs and wolves teaches us many traits that haven't changed much since before they were domesticated.

1. Instinct:

Instinct is an inborn tendency to behave in a way that is characteristic of a breed.

2. Body Language:

Postural display is yet another characteristic of canines.
* When meeting a strange dog or person, non socialized dogs will raise their hackles (hair on their backs and necks). This is more noticeable in short haired dogs, which makes them look larger than they normally are. It is meant to intimidate other dogs and people who pose a threat. Oftentimes hackle rising is combined with pulling back their lips to show their teeth.
* A dog’s ears and tail positions are among other postural displays that will tell what a dog is thinking. For instance, most dogs will tuck their tails between their legs and their ears will fall when submitting to a greater power.
* Rolling over on their backs is another action of submission a dog will portray.
* Kneeling, or putting their front legs on the ground and lowering their front quarters is an indication they want to play. Combining this with a wagging tail displays friendliness.
* A superior more dominating dog will usually assume another significant body posture toward another dog. Standing tall on stiff legs, the superior dog will strut around the powerless one, often stressing this posture with frequent growls and snarls.
* Another instinctive habit seen in many dogs, is turning in circles before lying down. Some experts say this circling goes back to the days when dogs turned around and around to pack down the grass to make a soft bed. Others think the habit is more likely connected to their checking the ground for the scent of its enemies, since the dog has its nose to the ground during the turning around.
* Digging is another inborn trait in that dogs will occasionally dig dens under porches or yards. Terriers were known to pursue their quarry underground by digging, and this too is an inherited behavior.
* Chasing cars and/or other animals is not a bad habit, but just another instinct in many dog breeds.
* Attacking small animals is an inborn hunting trait derived from the time these small rodents were the dogs main food source. These inherited instincts are so natural that they cannot be stopped or changed completely, no matter how much effort is used.

3. Sense of Smell:

Sniffing or smelling the wind is another characteristic long established by wolves and other wild canines. This serves as a dual purpose; to detect the scent of prey and to distinguish predators in the area. Some breeds have a more keen sense of smell than other breeds. Domestic canines have 40 times more olfactory (sense of smell) cells than humans have.

4. Sense of Hearing:

With their erect ears dogs can hear the faintest sound and are excellent in early warnings of danger. Able to differentiate the distinct sounds of different cars in the distance, pet dogs often announce the arrival of their owner even before they can be seen.

5. Sight:

Dogs have highly developed visual capability. Their field of vision is different and in some ways inferior to that of humans, but for their purposes, it is quite adequate.

6. Memory:

Dogs have an excellent memory which gives them the capability to learn quickly. In addition to a good memory and learning ability, a dog has the capacity to think and reasoning capabilities with which to solve problems. Dogs are a cunning and intelligent animal with a complex mind.

Although dogs' instinctive actions and personalities are influenced by heredity, like other intelligent mammals, they are the products of genetics, experience, and training.

Environmental and Security Strategies: The Car Hire Industry being Pursued

There’s always a first time for everything, environment and security pursues is not exceptional. The question in today’s Cheap Rental Cars - reiVRE Hot Pulse is – "What as now changed in the car hire industry that is worth a full article?”

Environmental and Security Strategies Being Pursued In the Car Hire Industry

... it has often been regarded as an industry that is less than receptive of change, an industry that would prefer to carry on car hire operations as they have been carried out for generations. One thing has certainly changed in the car hire...

In terms of technology and technological development the car hire industry has always had a somewhat poor reputation. In the wider sense it has often been regarded as an industry that is less than receptive of change, an industry that would prefer to carry on car hire operations as they have been carried out for generations. One thing has certainly changed in the car hire industry in the last twenty years however, as increased competition has become readily apparent, a unique customer focus has had to have been developed by all the major players to ensure their survival.

Like many industries the car hire industry has had to cope with increasing calls by eco-lobbyists to go green. The effects of global warming are increasingly affecting our way of life and in the realm of car hire this is no different. As technologies are developed to reduce the impact that car hire companies are having upon the environment, these technologies are being offered to tweak our environmental conscience. This is in no way an industry-wide phenomenon but there are now enough companies employing eco strategies to regard it as a trend. As more and more customers demand services that are eco-friendly, it is understandable that certain companies are using eco strategies to entice custom and trade.

The most widespread form of eco-strategy has been the introduction of hybrid cars into car hire fleets. While this may look great to customers when purveying the company literature, many environmental commentators have criticised this type of policy as a gesture that only goes half way to tackling the problems of climate change. It is true that hybrid cars produce lower emissions than their regular counterparts but the feasibility of using fuel sources such as bio-fuel and hydrogen has still not been fully researched. A fact that environmental campaigners are acutely aware of; especially when considering bio-fuel, that uses swathes of land that could instead be used for the raising of crops.

There is also the argument that for car hire companies to truly become more eco-friendly it is essential that they work towards changing the way customers use their hire cars. While this may not be in their interests in terms of generated profits, it is still being introduced by some forward thinking companies. One way in which this is being done is by changing the way in which rates and tariffs are calculated. The major shift has been from hire on a daily basis to an hourly structure of charges. It is hoped that by doing this, the number of hire cars on the road at any one time can be reduced and subsequently the negative impact on both the environment and congestion will be lessened.

It is not however purely environmental changes that have been felt in the car hire industry in recent years. After many high profile cases where organised criminals had managed to steal large proportions of fleets, security has become a major concern in the industry. One of the methods that has been employed is the fitting of GPS trackers into many fleet vehicles. Acting like a black box on an aeroplane it is possible for companies to track the whereabouts of all their vehicles at any one time; especially useful after a theft. As well as these GPS devices, an increasingly common sight at car hire desks is a thumb print reader that records all of the customers thumb prints digitally. As with many spheres of life, biometric data is becoming an ever more fundamental part of the car rental process.

While new technologies may be initially resisted by those in the industry, it does not take a great deal of time for their benefits to be realised. The security measures will undoubtedly spread rapidly as they actively work towards protecting fleets. What might take longer is the introduction of eco-strategies; these policies will not bring immediate profits and hence will be resisted. The only way for a greener car hire industry to become apparent is to keep up the demand for eco-friendly options when we are at the rental desk.

How to Buy the Right Used Car for Your Needs. "Party II"

There’s always a first time for everything, Buying a Used Car is not exceptional. The question in today’s Used Cars-reiVRE Hot Pulse is – "What do you've to check when buying a Used Car?"

When looking to buy a second hand car you should be extra careful and vigilant as purchasing a car from a private sale does not usually come with the reassurance of a warranty.

Take as long as you want with your inspection

Checking the Interior

Ensure all the electrics, including mirrors; windows and central locking are in good working order. Test the seatbelts click into their sockets and retract properly. Check the wear on the foot pedals, as this will give you an indication if the vehicle has covered an excessive amount of miles. Lift any seat blankets, which may be hiding burns and stains. Don't be afraid to check under floor mats and upholstery for rot and corrosion. Feel around for any damp or water residue and when inside have a good sniff for any mould or pet smells, as this is a sure sign there may be stains or damp lurking somewhere.

Exterior inspection

Look down the sides of the vehicle as some used cars would have suffered the odd bump or two in their time. Check to see if the panels are in line and free from any filer. Make sure there are no irregular gaps between the doors, bonnet and boot. Check the colour match on each panel for signs of a respray. Feel under the wheel arches and seals for signs of rust.

Most used cars will need some money spent on them and normally this will be tires and exhausts. The minimum tyre tread is 1.6mm so check all the tyres have at least this depth and factor replacement costs into your budget if they are near the mark. Inspect the exhaust, and check that it is not noisy or blowing.

The Engine

Check the engine oil and ensure that it is brown and transparent. Make sure the paintwork in the engine bay matches that of the cars exterior. Check for leaks on hoses and pipes before and after the test drive.
When the engine is started it should idle smoothly. Listen carefully for any irregular rattles or grinding sounds.

The Test Drive

Don't be afraid to ask for a test drive, preferably with you driving the vehicle.
If possible drive the vehicle on a variety of road surfaces so you can feel the cars handling. Check the suspension is solid and the vehicle holds a true line. Listen for any grinding when the steering wheel is at full lock. Once the vehicle is moving listen for any irregular engine noises.

Closing the Deal

Once you are satisfied the vehicle is for you and it has passed the above checks do not be afraid to haggle over the price. Most sellers of used cars are prepared to negotiate over the original asking price. Where possible try to get the seller to include any extras or accessories.
An important point to remember is not to feel pressured into buying a car no matter how good the sales patter is.

If you have any doubts about the purchase then DO NOT BUY as there are many other used cars out there to choose from.

How to Buy the Right Used Car for Your Needs. "Party I"

There’s always a first time for everything, Buying a Used Car is not exceptional. The question in today’s Used Cars-reiVRE Hot Pulse is – "is it a good idea to buy a Used Car?"

When looking to buy a second hand car you should be extra careful and vigilant as purchasing a car from a private sale does not usually come with the reassurance of a warranty.

Used cars have one major advantage over buying a brand new vehicle and that is the price. Used cars, even if only a year or two old are substantially cheaper than new cars. From the moment a vehicle is driven off a dealer's forecourt the depreciation begins and in the early days the price drop is disproportionate to the vehicles actual wear and tear.

If you are not mechanically minded yourself it is probably a good idea to take someone, preferably a mechanic with you or better still instruct a specialist engineer to examine the vehicle on your behalf. Although this will increase your budget it will not only give you peace of mind but will undoubtedly be money well spent if a serious problem is discovered.

Take your time and do not rush into a purchase just because you think you will lose the sale. Remember there are thousands of used cars out there to choose from.

Decide on your budget and stick to it! Make sure you have included tax, insurance and any accessories you might need on top of the actual cost of the car in your budget. Make sure you are buying the right car for your needs. If it's a family vehicle you are looking for to ferry the kids around, don't get carried away looking at two seater roadsters. It's easily done!

Make sure you research thoroughly and buy several magazines and guides from your local newsagent. This will help you have a better understanding of used car prices and market trends, as you will find thousands of used cars listed.

When viewing any used cars make sure you do it in the daytime preferably at the seller's home address. Daytime viewings will ensure that any defects to the bodywork are easily noticed and viewing the vehicle at the seller's home address will give you an idea of how the vehicle has been maintained. If the vendor wants to carry out the transaction elsewhere demand that it is a public place. This is for your own safety, as you do not know who you will be dealing with.

It is quite normal for used cars to have had several prior owners so don't be put of by this, but do check the cars log book and service history carefully making sure the documents are in order and all the dates and records check out.

Carry out a HPI check to verify the cars history. You will be able to determine if the vehicle has any outstanding finance or if it has been stolen. Also this check will determine if the vehicle has been subject to an insurance write off or if the mileage has been altered.

Ask the vendor as many questions as possible about the cars history, especially the reason for sale. That said, do not take any reply as an absolute truth!

If you have any doubts about the purchase then DO NOT BUY as there are many other used cars out there to choose from.

Cruise Line: How to choose the right cruise!

How To Choose A Cruise That's Right For You

There’s always a first time for everything, choosing the right cruise is not exceptional. The question in today’s hot purse is –How do you get to choose the right cruise that fits your desire?

Cruise Line: How to choose the right cruise!

These days there certainly does seem to be a bewildering array of cruise ships and cruise destinations that can make selecting one that's right for you a real challenge. For the first time cruiser, how do you know which is the right cruise for you? It's easy to fall into the trap of believing the common assumption, that a Royal Caribbean cruise is the best one for everyone, because in truth it only suits certain types of people.

What you need to think about carefully is what sort of holiday you usually enjoy. Are you, for example, the sort of person who normally enjoys lounging about on a sunny beach with a cool drink in your hand and nothing much to do? If so, then a Caribbean holiday may very well suit you. However, for those who prefer more adventure and excitement, there are cruises which head out towards Alaska, and will provide you with opportunities to explore and have a real adventure that you normally wouldn't come across.

Still other people prefer the more cultural holidays, enjoying the local traditions, the history of the places, and take advantage of museums, parks and palaces. In this case, a Mediterranean cruise might be ideal, since it usually includes stops at places such as France, Italy and Spain, all of which hold abundant opportunities to explore cultural places.

The important thing to remember is that cruise ships are very much alike once you are on board. The facilities and amenities, and of course the general size, will vary, but on the whole the experience will be relatively similar. The real difference as far as your holiday experience is concerned is when you get off the ship and start exploring the places it has brought you to.

Of course, to some extent you need to think about what your requirements are for the ship itself - and also what facilities you really don't need, because you'll be paying for them anyway. If you don't enjoy swimming, then a cruise ship which has three huge swimming pools on deck will be charging you for their use in the overall price. Choosing a different cruise ship for the similar destination might well reduce the price dramatically.

As well as the type of ship, and its facilities, and the destinations included on the itinerary, one other important factor to consider when deciding which sort of cruise will suit you is the time of year it will be taking place. The most popular times of year are the winter, the spring holiday and the summer. These become very busy, and very booked. Also, of course, the destinations you arrive at will be busy too. The quietest time of year is the autumn, and if you are able to book your cruise for this sort of period you will still be able to enjoy wonderful weather on your trip, but you'll also benefit from a quieter ship, more easily explored destinations, and a slightly more personal service.

Once you have had a think about your preferred style of holiday, possible destinations, needs and facilities you're not interested in, and the time of year you're free to travel, you would be well advised to talk to a travel agent who will be able to take all those factors into consideration, and start providing you with a list of suitable cruises for you to enjoy browsing.

Best Way to Find Discount Airfare for Tight Budget !

How to Find Discount Airfare for stretched Budget !

There’s always a first time for everything, and getting to find discount airfare when on a tight budget is not exceptional. The question in today’s Hot Purse is –How do you find this discounted airfares when on a stretched budget?

There is an unbound joy when you are able to purchase cheap airline tickets for your next journey. It is a great feeling realizing that you are able to save money and it is even real fun to brag about your abilities on achieving such a superb deal.

If you are willing to be an informed customer you can definitely find airfare deals which suits your travel plans. If you are alive to the options available before you and are ready to be flexible in your travel dates and times, then discovering cheap airfare will not be a major issue for you.

Attaining inexpensive tickets can lead to opportunities for you and your family to experience other parts of the world without reaching home and thinking like you immersed yourself into debt. Certainly, you can go through cheap vacations that are still enjoyable, thrilling and enterprising by spotting those airfare rates and discount hotel reservations and even car reservations if you are planning to go across the countryside.

Travel prices have become very high these days, so it is of prime importance to locate the cheapest airfares that are on offer because the travel expenditure covers a big part of the vacation budget in the case of most families around the world. By finding reduced airfare rates you can use the money saved for a special night on the town at your vacation destination or for other luxurious activities and shopping.

One of the most important things when you are looking for inexpensive tickets is your flexibility. A very tight schedule and inability to alter your travel date or time of departure can end up in you paying full price. However, if you can change your travel dates a bit you may find useful savings.

To see how your departure date can affect your chances of securing a cheap ticket just visit the website of your preferred airline. Enter the travels days you have in your mind in the fields that demand your departing and returning flights. Examine the various fares that are on display and do the process again by changing only your departure date.

Analyze how that influences the price, and then try with your return day. This will make you aware about how sometimes a small variation in the day of your flight can lead to a big difference in the cost of air fare for your trip.

Don't forget to look out for how the time of day changes the ticket prices. Early morning flights and late night flights are sometimes the best bet for receiving the cheapest tickets. However, some people think that those flights are always the cheapest, but this will not be the scenario always. Actually it will cause great discomfort sometimes if you choose late night flights. Always compare the costs of all the flight schedules for the particular day you plan to fly.

Sometimes, you may assume that shifting the responsibility to a travel agent or a quick investigation of the big online travel sites is all that is required to achieve cheap airline tickets. However, the industry experts strongly believe that there is not any single source that is reliable enough to have all the current information for all the airfare deals available.

There is simply too much data that is constantly fluctuating. It is the responsibility of the consumers to take the initiative to explore large number of sites and review as many options as possible to discover the low airfares they were looking for.
