There’s always a first time for everything, Cruise ship holiday is not exceptional. The question in today’s Cruise Line - reiVRE Hot Pulse is – "Are cruise holidays actually cheaper?”

There are so many ways how to enjoy a vacation with your family, friends, or special someone. If you have the budget, you may rent a suite or a vacation house where the magnificence of nature serves as your wallpaper. Most of the major cruise lines such as Silversea Cruises have facilities such as outdoor swimming pools, game room, family entertainment room, gym, and more. These areas are designed with the passengers in their mind. They do not want you to get bored while on the cruise so there are rooms where you can spend some of your time without getting bored.

But a cruise holiday is not just all about the cruise itself. You also get the chance to go down on different tourist destinations on the way. You will be spending an hour or even a day at these tourist spots. And if by chance you are cruising on a summer destination, you will even get the chance to do some water sports activities such as snorkelling or even diving.

Surely you don’t want to miss the nightlife that you usually have during Fridays or Saturdays. During your holiday cruise, there are also night activities that you can enjoy with your family and friends. Most luxury cruise ships have discos and bars inside. If there are none, your cruise holiday will probably have performances from the crews or locals of the tourist destination where you are heading to. Depending on your demanding schedule, a cruise holiday can last from five days up to a week.

Environmental and Security Strategies: The Car Hire Industry being Pursued

There’s always a first time for everything, environment and security pursues is not exceptional. The question in today’s Cheap Rental Cars - reiVRE Hot Pulse is – "What as now changed in the car hire industry that is worth a full article?”

Environmental and Security Strategies Being Pursued In the Car Hire Industry

... it has often been regarded as an industry that is less than receptive of change, an industry that would prefer to carry on car hire operations as they have been carried out for generations. One thing has certainly changed in the car hire...

In terms of technology and technological development the car hire industry has always had a somewhat poor reputation. In the wider sense it has often been regarded as an industry that is less than receptive of change, an industry that would prefer to carry on car hire operations as they have been carried out for generations. One thing has certainly changed in the car hire industry in the last twenty years however, as increased competition has become readily apparent, a unique customer focus has had to have been developed by all the major players to ensure their survival.

Like many industries the car hire industry has had to cope with increasing calls by eco-lobbyists to go green. The effects of global warming are increasingly affecting our way of life and in the realm of car hire this is no different. As technologies are developed to reduce the impact that car hire companies are having upon the environment, these technologies are being offered to tweak our environmental conscience. This is in no way an industry-wide phenomenon but there are now enough companies employing eco strategies to regard it as a trend. As more and more customers demand services that are eco-friendly, it is understandable that certain companies are using eco strategies to entice custom and trade.

The most widespread form of eco-strategy has been the introduction of hybrid cars into car hire fleets. While this may look great to customers when purveying the company literature, many environmental commentators have criticised this type of policy as a gesture that only goes half way to tackling the problems of climate change. It is true that hybrid cars produce lower emissions than their regular counterparts but the feasibility of using fuel sources such as bio-fuel and hydrogen has still not been fully researched. A fact that environmental campaigners are acutely aware of; especially when considering bio-fuel, that uses swathes of land that could instead be used for the raising of crops.

There is also the argument that for car hire companies to truly become more eco-friendly it is essential that they work towards changing the way customers use their hire cars. While this may not be in their interests in terms of generated profits, it is still being introduced by some forward thinking companies. One way in which this is being done is by changing the way in which rates and tariffs are calculated. The major shift has been from hire on a daily basis to an hourly structure of charges. It is hoped that by doing this, the number of hire cars on the road at any one time can be reduced and subsequently the negative impact on both the environment and congestion will be lessened.

It is not however purely environmental changes that have been felt in the car hire industry in recent years. After many high profile cases where organised criminals had managed to steal large proportions of fleets, security has become a major concern in the industry. One of the methods that has been employed is the fitting of GPS trackers into many fleet vehicles. Acting like a black box on an aeroplane it is possible for companies to track the whereabouts of all their vehicles at any one time; especially useful after a theft. As well as these GPS devices, an increasingly common sight at car hire desks is a thumb print reader that records all of the customers thumb prints digitally. As with many spheres of life, biometric data is becoming an ever more fundamental part of the car rental process.

While new technologies may be initially resisted by those in the industry, it does not take a great deal of time for their benefits to be realised. The security measures will undoubtedly spread rapidly as they actively work towards protecting fleets. What might take longer is the introduction of eco-strategies; these policies will not bring immediate profits and hence will be resisted. The only way for a greener car hire industry to become apparent is to keep up the demand for eco-friendly options when we are at the rental desk.

How to Buy the Right Used Car for Your Needs. "Party II"

There’s always a first time for everything, Buying a Used Car is not exceptional. The question in today’s Used Cars-reiVRE Hot Pulse is – "What do you've to check when buying a Used Car?"

When looking to buy a second hand car you should be extra careful and vigilant as purchasing a car from a private sale does not usually come with the reassurance of a warranty.

Take as long as you want with your inspection

Checking the Interior

Ensure all the electrics, including mirrors; windows and central locking are in good working order. Test the seatbelts click into their sockets and retract properly. Check the wear on the foot pedals, as this will give you an indication if the vehicle has covered an excessive amount of miles. Lift any seat blankets, which may be hiding burns and stains. Don't be afraid to check under floor mats and upholstery for rot and corrosion. Feel around for any damp or water residue and when inside have a good sniff for any mould or pet smells, as this is a sure sign there may be stains or damp lurking somewhere.

Exterior inspection

Look down the sides of the vehicle as some used cars would have suffered the odd bump or two in their time. Check to see if the panels are in line and free from any filer. Make sure there are no irregular gaps between the doors, bonnet and boot. Check the colour match on each panel for signs of a respray. Feel under the wheel arches and seals for signs of rust.

Most used cars will need some money spent on them and normally this will be tires and exhausts. The minimum tyre tread is 1.6mm so check all the tyres have at least this depth and factor replacement costs into your budget if they are near the mark. Inspect the exhaust, and check that it is not noisy or blowing.

The Engine

Check the engine oil and ensure that it is brown and transparent. Make sure the paintwork in the engine bay matches that of the cars exterior. Check for leaks on hoses and pipes before and after the test drive.
When the engine is started it should idle smoothly. Listen carefully for any irregular rattles or grinding sounds.

The Test Drive

Don't be afraid to ask for a test drive, preferably with you driving the vehicle.
If possible drive the vehicle on a variety of road surfaces so you can feel the cars handling. Check the suspension is solid and the vehicle holds a true line. Listen for any grinding when the steering wheel is at full lock. Once the vehicle is moving listen for any irregular engine noises.

Closing the Deal

Once you are satisfied the vehicle is for you and it has passed the above checks do not be afraid to haggle over the price. Most sellers of used cars are prepared to negotiate over the original asking price. Where possible try to get the seller to include any extras or accessories.
An important point to remember is not to feel pressured into buying a car no matter how good the sales patter is.

If you have any doubts about the purchase then DO NOT BUY as there are many other used cars out there to choose from.

How to Buy the Right Used Car for Your Needs. "Party I"

There’s always a first time for everything, Buying a Used Car is not exceptional. The question in today’s Used Cars-reiVRE Hot Pulse is – "is it a good idea to buy a Used Car?"

When looking to buy a second hand car you should be extra careful and vigilant as purchasing a car from a private sale does not usually come with the reassurance of a warranty.

Used cars have one major advantage over buying a brand new vehicle and that is the price. Used cars, even if only a year or two old are substantially cheaper than new cars. From the moment a vehicle is driven off a dealer's forecourt the depreciation begins and in the early days the price drop is disproportionate to the vehicles actual wear and tear.

If you are not mechanically minded yourself it is probably a good idea to take someone, preferably a mechanic with you or better still instruct a specialist engineer to examine the vehicle on your behalf. Although this will increase your budget it will not only give you peace of mind but will undoubtedly be money well spent if a serious problem is discovered.

Take your time and do not rush into a purchase just because you think you will lose the sale. Remember there are thousands of used cars out there to choose from.

Decide on your budget and stick to it! Make sure you have included tax, insurance and any accessories you might need on top of the actual cost of the car in your budget. Make sure you are buying the right car for your needs. If it's a family vehicle you are looking for to ferry the kids around, don't get carried away looking at two seater roadsters. It's easily done!

Make sure you research thoroughly and buy several magazines and guides from your local newsagent. This will help you have a better understanding of used car prices and market trends, as you will find thousands of used cars listed.

When viewing any used cars make sure you do it in the daytime preferably at the seller's home address. Daytime viewings will ensure that any defects to the bodywork are easily noticed and viewing the vehicle at the seller's home address will give you an idea of how the vehicle has been maintained. If the vendor wants to carry out the transaction elsewhere demand that it is a public place. This is for your own safety, as you do not know who you will be dealing with.

It is quite normal for used cars to have had several prior owners so don't be put of by this, but do check the cars log book and service history carefully making sure the documents are in order and all the dates and records check out.

Carry out a HPI check to verify the cars history. You will be able to determine if the vehicle has any outstanding finance or if it has been stolen. Also this check will determine if the vehicle has been subject to an insurance write off or if the mileage has been altered.

Ask the vendor as many questions as possible about the cars history, especially the reason for sale. That said, do not take any reply as an absolute truth!

If you have any doubts about the purchase then DO NOT BUY as there are many other used cars out there to choose from.

Cruise Line: How to choose the right cruise!

How To Choose A Cruise That's Right For You

There’s always a first time for everything, choosing the right cruise is not exceptional. The question in today’s hot purse is –How do you get to choose the right cruise that fits your desire?

Cruise Line: How to choose the right cruise!

These days there certainly does seem to be a bewildering array of cruise ships and cruise destinations that can make selecting one that's right for you a real challenge. For the first time cruiser, how do you know which is the right cruise for you? It's easy to fall into the trap of believing the common assumption, that a Royal Caribbean cruise is the best one for everyone, because in truth it only suits certain types of people.

What you need to think about carefully is what sort of holiday you usually enjoy. Are you, for example, the sort of person who normally enjoys lounging about on a sunny beach with a cool drink in your hand and nothing much to do? If so, then a Caribbean holiday may very well suit you. However, for those who prefer more adventure and excitement, there are cruises which head out towards Alaska, and will provide you with opportunities to explore and have a real adventure that you normally wouldn't come across.

Still other people prefer the more cultural holidays, enjoying the local traditions, the history of the places, and take advantage of museums, parks and palaces. In this case, a Mediterranean cruise might be ideal, since it usually includes stops at places such as France, Italy and Spain, all of which hold abundant opportunities to explore cultural places.

The important thing to remember is that cruise ships are very much alike once you are on board. The facilities and amenities, and of course the general size, will vary, but on the whole the experience will be relatively similar. The real difference as far as your holiday experience is concerned is when you get off the ship and start exploring the places it has brought you to.

Of course, to some extent you need to think about what your requirements are for the ship itself - and also what facilities you really don't need, because you'll be paying for them anyway. If you don't enjoy swimming, then a cruise ship which has three huge swimming pools on deck will be charging you for their use in the overall price. Choosing a different cruise ship for the similar destination might well reduce the price dramatically.

As well as the type of ship, and its facilities, and the destinations included on the itinerary, one other important factor to consider when deciding which sort of cruise will suit you is the time of year it will be taking place. The most popular times of year are the winter, the spring holiday and the summer. These become very busy, and very booked. Also, of course, the destinations you arrive at will be busy too. The quietest time of year is the autumn, and if you are able to book your cruise for this sort of period you will still be able to enjoy wonderful weather on your trip, but you'll also benefit from a quieter ship, more easily explored destinations, and a slightly more personal service.

Once you have had a think about your preferred style of holiday, possible destinations, needs and facilities you're not interested in, and the time of year you're free to travel, you would be well advised to talk to a travel agent who will be able to take all those factors into consideration, and start providing you with a list of suitable cruises for you to enjoy browsing.

Best Way to Find Discount Airfare for Tight Budget !

How to Find Discount Airfare for stretched Budget !

There’s always a first time for everything, and getting to find discount airfare when on a tight budget is not exceptional. The question in today’s Hot Purse is –How do you find this discounted airfares when on a stretched budget?

There is an unbound joy when you are able to purchase cheap airline tickets for your next journey. It is a great feeling realizing that you are able to save money and it is even real fun to brag about your abilities on achieving such a superb deal.

If you are willing to be an informed customer you can definitely find airfare deals which suits your travel plans. If you are alive to the options available before you and are ready to be flexible in your travel dates and times, then discovering cheap airfare will not be a major issue for you.

Attaining inexpensive tickets can lead to opportunities for you and your family to experience other parts of the world without reaching home and thinking like you immersed yourself into debt. Certainly, you can go through cheap vacations that are still enjoyable, thrilling and enterprising by spotting those airfare rates and discount hotel reservations and even car reservations if you are planning to go across the countryside.

Travel prices have become very high these days, so it is of prime importance to locate the cheapest airfares that are on offer because the travel expenditure covers a big part of the vacation budget in the case of most families around the world. By finding reduced airfare rates you can use the money saved for a special night on the town at your vacation destination or for other luxurious activities and shopping.

One of the most important things when you are looking for inexpensive tickets is your flexibility. A very tight schedule and inability to alter your travel date or time of departure can end up in you paying full price. However, if you can change your travel dates a bit you may find useful savings.

To see how your departure date can affect your chances of securing a cheap ticket just visit the website of your preferred airline. Enter the travels days you have in your mind in the fields that demand your departing and returning flights. Examine the various fares that are on display and do the process again by changing only your departure date.

Analyze how that influences the price, and then try with your return day. This will make you aware about how sometimes a small variation in the day of your flight can lead to a big difference in the cost of air fare for your trip.

Don't forget to look out for how the time of day changes the ticket prices. Early morning flights and late night flights are sometimes the best bet for receiving the cheapest tickets. However, some people think that those flights are always the cheapest, but this will not be the scenario always. Actually it will cause great discomfort sometimes if you choose late night flights. Always compare the costs of all the flight schedules for the particular day you plan to fly.

Sometimes, you may assume that shifting the responsibility to a travel agent or a quick investigation of the big online travel sites is all that is required to achieve cheap airline tickets. However, the industry experts strongly believe that there is not any single source that is reliable enough to have all the current information for all the airfare deals available.

There is simply too much data that is constantly fluctuating. It is the responsibility of the consumers to take the initiative to explore large number of sites and review as many options as possible to discover the low airfares they were looking for.

Launched in Hong Kong , Oasis Hong Kong Airlines pioneers a fresh approach to flying.

Is the fear of sea water a reality that can ruin your trip?

There’s always a first time for everything, Cruise ship holiday is not exceptional. The question in today’s hot purse is – Is the fear of sea water a reality that can ruin your cruise ship trip?

Is the fear of sea water a reality that can ruin your trip?

It may seem strange to imagine that people who are afraid of water will go on a cruise, and yet every year many thousands of people do exactly that. Some of these people have very deep seated fears of water, and may not be able to swim as a result of that fear. Other people may not even consider that they are afraid, but discover a slight fear once they set foot on their first cruise ship and watch the firm land they left drifting into the far horizon. Still others have fears that are almost hidden, and do not admit it even to themselves, but let the anxiety hide deep down, causing them to enjoy the trip less.

Considering the cost of cruises, and also what a fantastic experience they can be, it is worth giving some thought to points that may in some small way help to alleviate any fears, especially those which are based on misunderstood facts, or simply myths which have no basis in reality.

One of the most useful things to consider doing is to book your first cruise as part of a group. Going with a large group of familiar people will help you to feel less afraid. The sight of familiar faces will help to bring some of the associations you have of dry land onto the ship. These people will know you, and will be able to support you. Don't be afraid to admit your worries - that way people can be more supportive and sympathetic. It is not a weakness; we all have our own personal fears and worries, many of which are quite irrational and even absurd! Certainly the fear of water is entirely understandable, yet there are points to mention which might help in some way to calm nerves.

One of the most common fears is, of course, to do with the ship sinking. These cruise ships are many hundreds of meters long, and hundreds of meters high. They are the length of several football pitches, and as high as tower blocks. The huge size of these ships means that they are highly unlikely to ever sink, and even if they did, it would be such a ludicrously slow process that there would never be any cause for fear that it would sink so quickly you wouldn't be saved.

The other thing of course is that all cruise ships have more than enough lifeboats for every single passenger on board and enough life jackets for everyone too. In addition to which, the seas and routes taken by cruise ships today are so busy that you are highly unlikely to ever be far from another ship, which would simply come along and pick you up.

But all this is highly improbable. Although people will undoubtedly be thinking of the Titanic, it is worth remembering that not only it was almost a hundred years ago, but the crew didn't bother taking enough lifeboats, there were serious design flaws, it was sailed in a way that was strictly against the design recommendations, along with many other factors which made the disaster inevitable.

Oddly, people who are afraid of cruising on a ship have no problem flying - this is over the same stretch of water yet 30,000 feet higher up! Statistically, cruising is the safest means of transportation. You're more likely to have an accident cycling to work. In fact, more people are being injured or killed every year by having a coconut fall on their head than have died from a cruise ship accident in the last 25 years.

Do You Know How To Getting Dirt Cheap Airline Tickets?

Are You Getting Cheap Airline Tickets?

There’s always a first time for everything, and getting super cheap Airline tickets is not exceptional. The question in today’s hot purse is –Who would what to pay the full price for an airplane ticket?

Nobody wants to pay a small fortune for an airline ticket these days, And if you take a look around you will see that every where that you look there is some kind of an advertisement for cheap airline tickets especially on the internet but they are also billboard signs, Television and else where as well.

Now who wants to pay the full price for an airplane ticket when you can get pretty much the same ticket somewhere else for about half of the original price?

If you did not already know it by now, Airline ticket sales has become a huge business in it self, It is not like it use to be where you had to see a travel agent to get a good deal on you travel tickets today you have more options.

When using a travel agent you can get some really good deals but you need to keep in mind that the agents are in business to make money that is what they are in business for, Even though they get you a good deal they get their cut as well.

With internet access these days it is a whole lot easier to do a search to find the best ticket deals, one of the first stops that most people make when doing a search is a fare comparison site. What these sites do is check the prices of many different carriers that offer the flight that you are looking for.

You will have a lot more options if you plan your travel from one big city to another big city compared to the small airports that don't get much traffic.

If your schedule is a little flexible then you may be able to save a lot more money on your flight by changing your departure or arrival dates by a day or so and see if that makes any difference in the price of your trip.

Another Place that you can sometimes find a cheap airline ticket is on an auction site, Yes that’s right, sometimes people buy a ticket and for what ever reason they are not able to use the ticket and can not get a refund so in order for them not to take a total loss they will sale it for what they can get out of it.

How ever you find your tickets take a little time to look around there are cheap airline tickets out there just waiting for you?

How to Help Other Folks Find the Best Hotel In Town

How to Help Other People Find A Good Hotel !

There’s always a first time for everything, and choosing the right hotel for your holiday is not exceptional. The question in today’s Hot Purse is – “How do you help others find a good hotel ?”

It's often hard to know how to go about choosing a hotel for your holiday. The website and glossy brochures will portray the Fairmont Hotels as a fabulous location full of luxury and glamour, but what is it like really? When so much is at stake, both financially and also as far as your valuable holiday time is concerned, you want to make sure you are making the right choice, and the service, facilities, noise and general state of the hotel is up to a good standard. What is the food like? Is it good value for money? Are the staffs friendly and helpful? These are things which are of great importance, but cannot be demonstrated in any way at all through a website or brochure.

The most reliable way of knowing which Pet Friendly Hotels for example, are worth staying in is through a personal recommendation, and if a family member or friend has stayed somewhere and recommended it, this can help put your mind at rest, and help you make a choice. However, the chances that someone you happen to know has recently stayed at the same location you are planning to visit is unlikely, and this leaves you in a difficult situation.

There are a number of excellent travel guides available in bookshops and at tourist information centers, and although these are almost always written quite independently and so the descriptions and verdicts of the hotel are written by people who are paid to inspect, or even stay at, the particular hotel, and these reviews can often be a year out of date. These guides are usually annual editions and the staff turnover, facilities and standards can change much more quickly than that, and so this doesn't give you the best advice. In addition to which, the people who write these books have a very wide range of experience of hotels, and their standards and expectations might be very different from the average family holidaymaker's.

Fortunately the internet has provided an alternative which works extremely successfully, although still to this day a relatively disjointed one. There are a number of travel and holiday websites which offer a review service, not run by the people who own the site, but by real genuine holiday makers such as you. These reviews are written by people who have recently stayed in a hotel example Double Tree Hotel , Hotels In Las Vegas etc and have then very shortly afterwards written their own review about their experience. These are very much more up to date, often published within a week of the reviewer having stayed at the hotel, and will be written by non professional writers who are simply, like yourself, looking for a pleasant holiday.

Often these reviews will be categorized into types of traveler - business people, individual travelers, family holiday makers, couples and so on, so that you can more easily identify with the type of expectations that the reviewer had.

One way in which you can help to improve this system for everybody is to add reviews yourself. Whenever you stay at a hotel or any other kind of accommodation, try to leave a review as soon as possible. There are so many websites to choose from, but if you booked it through an agent's site they may well have the facility for you to add a review on their own site. By adding your honest review, you will be helping future holiday makers to make more informed decisions, and in return, you may well benefit yourself by reading reviews left by others.
